Top 7 Video Game Cosplays of Anime Detour 2012
After viewing hundreds of cosplays this year, some of them great and some of them not so much, I have decided on my top 7 cosplays.

Anime Detour takes place in Bloomington, MN. Though it may not be as big of a convention as others out there, the registration cap fills up early every single year. A lot of impressive cosplays come out of this convention, just even in the hallways and main area. I do have to say that the cosplays are always my favorite part of the convention. It is a good way to know who is interested in what. You see someone dressed up as Link, and it’s safe to say he’s a Zelda fan. It’s a good way to show off and strike a conversation.
Of course there are people that think cosplaying is weird. I don’t. It’s not like we do it every day. Well, at least most of us don’t! Plus I find it really amazing to see how creative people can get.
A lot of people will ask, “How did you do that?!” It’s always fun to hear all the unconventional ways people put together a costume and what materials they use. It truly is an art form that many people overlook.
